A huge Congratulations to Ruby Sutton who after her Hole-In-One on Friday successfully wrapped up her first Major Competition win yesterday. Ruby bagged first place in the Captain's Lockdown Shield with a fantastic 42 points! 🏌️♀️👏
In second place for the members was Dave Minto (41), closely followed by Kenneth Winter (40).
The winner of the guests' competition with 41 points was P. Arnison (24 points back 9), in 2nd place was I. Calvert (23 points back 9) and in 3rd place, following a Hole-In-One on the 11th Hole was Paul Simpson with 39 points.
The Nearest the Pin on the 5th Hole was won by Sean Parker. On the 11th/17th, Paul took home the prize with his Hole-In-One after Michael Beck had held pole position for the majority of the day.
New member Michael also set a course record with a Gross 69!
Over on the Charity Hole, very few managed to hit and hold the green, making a tremendous amount of money for the Captain's Charity, Selby Hands of Hope. Well done to Ted Rogan who won the Nearest the Pin on the Charity Hole.
