Private Members Club Opens its Doors for March

Drax Golf Club is a private course managed on a ‘not-for-profit’ basis that enables us to offer membership, with no joining fee, at an extremely economical rate and in March we will be opening our doors to visitors to play without a member.

Visitors will be able to pay a Winter Green Fee of £8.00 per round including weekends from the 1st to 31st March. This will give anyone interested in joining the club a true insight of the course, how it is run and cared for. Payment is to be made in the club house bar prior to round and a bag tag must be obtained.

Although the course is situated adjacent to the country’s largest power station, it is set in a very attractive woodland area and during a round you will see a variety of wildlife. The layout of the course makes it manageable for a beginner, ideal for the casual golfer, but still offers a difficult challenge even for the more skilful players because of its narrow fairways and abundance of trees and hazards.

The club is currently seeking and encouraging new members, so why not pay us a visit to see for yourself the beautiful setting, excellent facilities, high standard of course maintenance and superb quality greens.

Any queries, please contact Seniors Captain, Matthew Forde on 07445324071 or Seniors Vice Captain, Kenneth Williams on 07900641180.

Membership is currently £352.00 and will increase to £372.00 on 1st April 2016.
