In the 2016 season we will be introducing an “Adopt a Hole” initiative. The objective of this is to keep the course in great condition throughout the season.
Players are encouraged to adopt a hole and maintain it as you play. Divot mix bags will be available to carry round during your game. As you play ‘your’ hole you can fill in divots, repair pitchmarks and rake bunkers. At other times, with the greens staff approval, you can spend time tidying the hole, trimming trees, tidying branches and even clearing leaves!
The ‘parents’ of the best kept hole will receive a prize at the Presentation Evening. Judging will be carried out by the Head Greenkeeper and his colleagues.
A sheet will be appearing in the foye in the next week for those wanting to help to sign up.
